I will graduate from my FNP program soon and may have 2 different offers, one in primary care and the other in peds primary care. I tend to like the peds one since the Doctor I am with is nice and the commute is not that bad.
My background is more on adults so it seems the primary care job is a better fit and may offer more potential growth after I have more experiences. The peds offer is a little lower but the workload is lighter, stress level is lower.
My concern is can I still get back to adult world or even some specialty in the future? Any FNP work in peds, what are the career future for that ? Thanks.
