Accepted students for Moorpark College Spring 2016

Hi everyone -

I'm starting this thread for anyone who has been accepted into Moorpark College's ADN program for the Spring 2016 cohort.

I know that the thread leading up to the admission decision wasn't all that active, but I'm hoping this one might be!

I want to be able to connect with many of you before our orientation on the 26th of this month!

Anyone else get their call and pick up their letter?! :D

Yay I'm so excited for us and everyone else who got in!!!

I totally cried on the phone when they called me and told me haha

Guilty, I started to cry and was surprised because I did not expect to. I had to apologize to her. She told me she loves these calls. A long long road to this point and so ready to start. =)

Haha, I apologized to her too because I started to cry but at the same time asked her if this was real life - she laughed and said she was excited about those calls as well too :)

I have no shame in the fact that I cried - we worked hard to get that spot, especially out of all the applicants, I feel like it's very warranted to cry in a time like that! 😛

Commenting so I can follow this thread! Yay :woot: Enjoy your free time, before we know it we will be so busy lol

I barely have any free time now between work and my current classes! So I'm just totally ready to embrace reallyyy having no life in a few months 😅😩 nonetheless, I'm excited to start though!

Same here I work full time! I already have my AA so thankfully don't have any classes to do, been a long road lol! Glad to finally be starting, but nervous! My husband is going to be in 3rd semester at Pierce when I start, we might just kill each other :Ghost:

I wish I didn't have any classes left, but I was such a procrastinator and did all the courses I wanted that I thought were fun, and left out the poly-sci, history, stats (i took calc instead, big mistake), and now I'm just playing catch up with those D:

I'm so glad my fiancé finished his program a few months ago, because he was a nightmare to be around when it was exam time - so I couldn't imagine how both of us would be lol.

Really random question and not really of too much importance in comparison of everything else, but since you were an alternate last semester you could answer this - is it true that the scrubs we have to get are all white? I figured the top was, but the bottoms too? Haha, it has just been a majority curiosity of mine!

Artusoa,

I have seen the nursing program students around campus as well as having a friend in the program who takes some pictures- the uniform is all white. I like it though because the top is a collar button which I think is cool lol.

I knew the top was like that, because I think every nursing program I've ever had friends in/seen, it's always that white top :]

I'm just not excited about white pants, lol. I think I'm going to have to invest in a lot of Tide To Go sticks >___>
