I'm a little confused why your next step is to to take an LVN exam if you have an RN license. Do you have an RN license in the US? If not, I'd contact the state board of nursing and see what steps you need to take in order to get an RN license in the are that you want to work. Taking an LVN exam just doesn't seem like the logical next step if you have a BSN and a license overseas.

The OP is from the Philippines; the CA BON requirements based on her schooling have concurrency issues. The OP may not be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN per the BON, but is eligible to take the NCLEX-PN.

There is an issue regarding foreign graduates, and most my RN friends from phil. applied already for nclex here in cali but BON asking for extra classes to take here. And LVN is the only thing they will credit as of now. I really wish i could just do what you trying to say tho, but its out of my hand. So im doing step by step.
