I have been coming to this website since I was in nursing school. I said once I passed NCLEX I would come back to share my experience. I just took NCLEX -RN on Sept 2, 2015 with 75 questions no math, or cardiac strips. About a third of my questions were SATA and I had about 5 exhibit questions. I left out of the testing center with tears in my eyes and feeling like I had to vomit. I was sure I failed it. It wasn't that I didn't know the content, I was just so damn nervous that my heart did not stop pounding until about question 25. I got out of the building and to the car and almost cried all the way home. That's when I decided to try "the trick". I didn't trust it at first, but after reading on here it seemed no one personally got the good pop up and failed. It was always a friend of a friend or some other craziness. I got the good pop up and after the hardest 48 hrs of my life I got the unofficial results yesterday AND I PASSED! I AM NOW OFFICIALLY AN RN!

The first thing I would say is to not use textbooks to study(go ahead and box them up).

I used Hurst for content, UWorld trial for questions, and that 35 page study guide that seems to be floating around everywhere. Uworld has the best rationales and awesome questions. I did about 100 questions a day.

Focus on your weakness: Mine were endocrine, maternity, and fluid and electrolytes.

We already have all the knowledge that we need to pass NCLEX. Hell, we wouldn't have made it through nursing school if we didn't. I think that we(nursing students) focus on what the test represent(us crossing the finish line and finally becoming nurses) more that the test questions itself. You just have to be confident in your knowledge and capabilities; and remember YOU GOT THIS!
