New RN

Hello,

I am new RN and have been interviewing for my first job! I have had 2 offers and really don't know which to accept. I was offered a position on a cardio progressive care unit and a trauma unit in 2 different pittsburgh hospitals. Please comment with your suggestion on which job to take!

What are you more interested in learning about?

First off, congrats on getting two offers!!! That's awesome! I know you are super excited.

Secondly, ask yourself these questions.

Which interview did you enjoy more? Which interview did you enjoy the peer reviews more? Which hospital do you identify with more as far as their vision and values? Look up the mission statements. Write out a list of pros and cons for each. Do you know anyone that works at one or both facilities? Have you asked them how they enjoy their jobs? What's your long term goal? All of these questions and more you have to answer for yourself.
