Help with Syringe Pumps and medication calculations

Hi

Iwas hoping someone can help me to understand the medication calc formula for Syringe Pumps for Heparing and Insulin.

When I go out on clinical placement, I do not get much experience with them, as no patient is using them. I am wishing to know for my own convenience to improve my knowledge.

Thanks

I use these pumps alot for terbutaline it depends on the pump and the concentration of the med. Just keep in mind that usually these syringe pumps only need a new syringe every couple of days (at least with the terb) so if you are changing them more frequently than you t hink you should, check into it.
