1 yr. mark!

I just realized today that I've now been traveling over a year! It's been great. No glitches (knock on wood). I've been to CO, KY, WA & CA so far. I just extended at assignment No. 4. I haven't been extending because I want to see as much as possible. But this hospital is giving me a month off & a bunch of other perks to stay so it was too tempting to pass up. Plus, I want to see more of this area (Sacramento, San Fran). It's really fun here. :)

Hope everyone's doing well at their current assignments & having as much fun traveling & learning as I am!

P.S. I wonder if I can call my extension assignment #5?....it sounds more impressive. LOL.

Yes to #5! Endo? (random guess) How is the pay these days? Sometimes it is really hard to find an endo traveler and pay rates go up.

You're correct! I've been surprised to learn in the past year how scarce endo travelers are. I guess we tend to stay put. :)

I don't know how pay compares to some of the really hot specialties but I've always brought home at least $1800/wk after taxes. $2100-$2400 out here in NoCal. Works for me as I've been hitting the jackpot for affordable housing.

It also helps that I'm not really picky where I go. As long as I'm licensed there & I click with that recruiter/company/facility I'm pretty easy.
