What was your score on the TEAS (if you don't mind me asking)?
Thanks! I had a 74.1 and was curious to see everyone else's. I still can't figure out if that is good, average, bad or really bad.:)

Tanner - I got an 84.1 on mine. I was told the average for the last group admitted to our program (indiana) was 83. I have friends that have got higher and lower scores than mine. I think it is relevant to your school's requirements. Our school has a minimum 'cut' score in each category:
Reading - 85% (equal to 85 points)
Math - 60%
Science - 60%
English - 73%
For a total of 69.5 to pass.
Again- I think it is relevant to what your school requires :) Good luck!
My school said during the test that there was NO cutoff, they were simply using it as a guide.
I've heard a lot of schools do that. Some take it in the beginning and then again in the end. Unfortunately for our group, it is used as a big portion of your admission criteria. We have to study like maniacs to try to get the highest score possible. Good for you that it is just a guide :)

I got an 89.2 % in the 99th national percentile and 97th among my group percentage. Does anybody know exactly what this means? i'm confused

Dresslikegranda,
Love you name! It means that out of 100 students at your school taking the same test, you scored BETTER than 96. Also, nationally out of 100 students taking the test, you scored better than 98. You performed fantastically, to be congratulated! We have a future nursing guru in our midst!

Those were exactly my scores too! :) My school is one that has us take it in the beginning and again at the end to see how we've progressed.

I got a 90 overall, 99th national, 99th group. The average for my group was around 75, I think.
Dress - the score report states 99th as the highest percentile (there is no 100), so you are in the top 1% in the country. That is very good. Congrats!
