Young CNA

Hello, I'm 17 and I revived my CNA last summer/fall. I live in Wisconsin and there is a law that minors cannot use the lifts. I know I need to work as a CNA within the first little bit of receiving my certification but no one around where I live will hire me. Any advice?

    I had a similar issue when I started as a CNA at 17. I couldn't get a job anywhere because of my age! Have you been looking at home health as well as ALF's? Those places rarely require lifts (I've used a hoyer lift only once in home health the 3 years I worked that).

    When I started out the ONLY place that would take a chance on me was a mom and pop home health agency. One of the best places I've ever worked!
