Xavier MIDAS MSN Program 2019

I also applied to Xavier's MIDAS program recently and am still waiting to hear anything. Have you gotten a confirmation email or anything? I know that the admissions are rolling, but I am not sure when they start reviewing applications.

I've heard nothing but good things about the program. I talked to a former clinical instructor who said that she loved working with the students and she felt students were prepared at a higher level than similar programs. Would love to hear anything else that current/ former students have to say about this program!

I'd also love to know if anyone has any idea of a timeline that we might hear back about admissions. Good luck to everyone as well!

@Future.RN.0 I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail from the program after I submitted. I did send an e-mail asking if they received all my required information, and someone responded to me quickly confirming that they did. They also mentioned the committee would be reviewing applications "in the next few weeks", and that they would notify applicants by e-mail. So, not sure what the timeline looks like for them.

Thanks for sharing the info about the former instructor. It's been hard to find student perspectives about the program. It doesn't seem like many are active on this site. Good luck!

It's been a month since my application was considered complete, and still haven't heard anything. Has anyone else heard back?

I received my acceptance letter this morning! So relieved and excited. Now, just have to wait and see about financial aid.

I am scheduled to take my GRE on May 18th, other than that I have everything done as far as prerequisites, recommendation letters, etc. It is awesome that XU has rolling admission, so people like me can still apply for admission :) I heard they have plenty of space. I hope I get in!

Did you speak with someone at the school?
