Wound vac help?

Hi! My fiance had a wound vac placed today on his back for a cyst that got infected. I don't kno the exact measurements but there are 2 holes. At first they were just packing it. And 1 hole fit 2 kerlex and the other fit 1. How long does it usually take to heal a wound that big with a wound vac? Thanks in advance!

How long someone will take to heal is never something that can be determined based on the size of the wound, unfortunately. There are many other factors(including depth, possible infection, the persons nutritional and hydration statuses, as well as just the mere fact that everyone is different). With that being said, I hope he heals fast and I wish I had a more clear answer for you!
