Hi there,
I am about to graduate and currently worried about going into the profession. A lot of nurses at my clinicals seem burned out and dissatisfied with their job, or even if they like it, seemed stretched out and overworked. I used to be excited about nursing but now I just feel dull and scared about going into the profession now. Any thoughts?

Get in there and learn to be the best nurse you can be. Your foundational experience is really important so stay positive and proactive.
You will decide for yourself how you feel about nursing. Don't let others' experiences and perceptions keep you from learning all you can, although that doesn't mean that you have to ignore or deny the more problematic aspects of nursing. Develop healthy habits of the mind with regard to well-being.
If you get good experience at the front end of your career you will be in a decent position to shift and change according to your desires (e.g. continuing your education, working in a different kind of space or specialty, etc).
It'll be okay!
