work at Sheppard Pratt

Hi,

I am considering applying for work at Sheppard Pratt. I am a psych nurse who already works on a psych unit. Can anyone give me any info about their experience at Sheppard? Would love to get as much info as I can from anyone who has worked there. I don't want to work on a unit with high turnaround or where the RN's are unhappy. If you work on a psych unit elsewhere in Balto. and are happy there, please give some info too. Thanks!

I work for Sheppard Pratt in one of the residential treatment centers. So we have kids for 6-18 months. I don't know if that's too long for you? We are off of the main campus, so communication with policy changes can be so-so. I have no problems with Sheppard Pratt. Nurses have it pretty well, especially if you are so into psych. If you have any other questions you can message me.

I've applied at Sheppard Pratt many times over the years, lol . I guess it's a very hard place to get into :-(
