I don't know if you are a Macanese or British and whether you speak Cantonese or not? Only Macau residents are allow to register in Macau as a nurse, that means you should hold a BIR.If you want to work in Macau, of course you should be able to speak Cantonese fluently, and read and write Chinese perfectly, if not, but at least Portuguese (you can work in government hospital even if you don't speak Cantonese but Portuguese). If you want to work in a government hospital, you should hold at least a BSN and you have to pass an exam which is written in Chinese or Portuguese, and only Macau permanently residents are allowed to work in government hospital. If you wish to work in private hospitals or old age home, you should hold at least a higher diploma in Nursing, but some hospitals may ask for BSN, and Cantonese speaking is a must. If you speak English only, you may work in some private clinics. Hope this helps.
