anyone know of a place where i can take microbiology in a shorter, but very time consuming winter term?? (i'm thinking "january-term", "j-term" or "winterim".)
or has anyone taken an online microbiology course???? if so, where?
i live in the northeast and am willing to travel just to get this course done if i can make it happen. my original plan to take it has now fallen through and am slightly frustrated!
looking for help... please :)

I did a 5-week summer microbiology and I don't recommend trying to do it in a 2 or 3 week Winterim term. I doubt if you'll find any school offering it in the Winterim.
Ocean County College (NJ) has a completely online microbiology course for Spring 2009:

When I checked, there were still 12 openings in the class.
Here's the page with info about microbiology online as well as A&P online.

If you really need the course, I would call them asap to see what you need to do to get in.
Good luck!
Thank you Atomicwoman! I will give them a call tomorrow. Sometimes I think the most challenging part about getting ready for nursing school is being organized, tenacious and having back-up plans as far as the preparation goes.
Best wishes. Gratefully,

Yep. But it's good practice for nursing school. :)
