Hello ! I got accepted to Wilson Community College ADN program and was wondering if anyone else got accepted and plan on going to Wilson for their associates degree nursing program for fall 2018?

Hi guys! I’m applying for the advanced placement which starts the second year in 2020! Hopefully I’ll see some of you next year!?

Anyone know about how many points they had when they were accepted into Wilson CC?

Hey! Did all of y'all order your uniforms during orientation? Anyone remember what any of this stuff was or can you see it on the website? Screenshot_20190711-175749_Chrome.thumb.jpg.b004bd0a8be16c41138d492bebbb2b60.jpg

Did everyone have all pre reqs done before applying to Wilson? I will have everything except Eng 112 & hum. Do I still have a chance?

I don’t see why not. It just needs to be completed by the time you graduate nursing school. If you do have it done it does give you and extra 3 points in the ranking if you make an A. 2 points if B and 1 point if C.

@Kawaii-nurse Do you know if some people that didn’t complete them but still got in? I have them planned to do for the spring semester but of course they won’t count. What should I do?

@Kbrumbaum do you remember about how many points you had when you were chosen as an alternate?

@AspriringNursey11 Hi about how many points did you have when you applied?

I think I had about 55. Completed all the non-NUR courses, except for the humanities course. It isn't a requirement to have them done before entering into the program, but it makes it easier bc you can just focus on your NUR courses.

Anyone else remember how many points they had when getting into Wilson?

Hello Everyone,

I was accepted to Wilson and I wanted to know how you are liking the program thus far? Also is there anything I can be doing/studying to prepare for my first semester that will get me ahead of the game?

Thanks

Hi There,

it’s hard for me to compare Wilson to other programs but overall it’s not horrible. Only advice I have is when it comes to Mrs.Jones material, go ahead and prepare to read, read, read. She do not provide PowerPoint presentations for her topics while also not teaching the material. Syllabus is a bit everywhere and not how it should be. Other than that, I have no other comments for the program.

If you don’t already have one, I would advise getting a planner. Have things planned helped me a lot. Also, join some groups if you’re in facebook for nursing students. I found a lot of resources on there.

Congratulations and welcome to 2 years of HELL ???
