Which would be faster?

So I'm set to graduate in a couple of months and will be moving to California. Was just wondering if anyone else here has done this recently, and which route they took to obtain their license? I can't decide if it would be better (quicker) to apply for initial licensure in California, or apply for it here and then endorse to California. Experiences/advice would be appreciated!

P.S. I am aware of the tough job market out there, so please, please no replies telling me not to move/I will regret it/blahblah. I prefer positivity!

    Obtaining initial licensure in CA takes forever, so I would get a license in the state where you currently reside and endorse into CA.
