Hi. I am new on this site and am glad to be part of this community.
I live in Chicago and am going to apply to master program in several schools in this area to become first a Registered Nurse( masters for individuals who change their career field). Programs are very competitive but there is one school( Chamberlain College) where it is very easy to be accepted. Unfortunately, I suspect that the college where it is so easy to become accepted is not the one who cares about its reputation, but wants money from prospective students. There is still 86% pass rate for first takers of an exam for RN license. QUESTION: Is it very important for being hired in the future to a good position from which college I graduate from? Eventually, I am planning on acquiring Nurse practitioner license too in order to be able to work as an aesthetician Nurse Practitioner( dermatological NP). I might even have money to open my own laser/ Botox/ fillers practice. So this college has both programs and I might be able to continue studying for NP there while working part time as RN.... Just my thoughts! Please, share your opinions!

Chamberlain is a for-profit entity whose umbrella company is DeVry University, and while that association bothers some people, others are fine with it. Many nurses have gone onto successful careers with degrees from Chamberlain. Good luck with whatever you decide.
Thank you for your insight! It is so hard to make a right decision!
I want to become NP in prospective and Chamberlain college gives the possibility to continue studying for NP after completing RN program- it might be easier and faster to complete both studying! But will I be competitive in the future in comparison with other schools graduates, this is the question which bothers me!
I am planning on becoming an aesthetic nurse( dermatological NP) and even to open my own practice( laser, fillers, Botox ) if I am able to administer these procedures without a doctor supervision( I need to clarify the question if Nurse practitioner is able to do injectables without doctor requests). But if I decide after a school that I will not want to be an aesthetician but to work in a hospital, I want to be able to find a job!
So many questions..... :-)
