Does anyone know of a LPN course in Ventura County? The only school I've found is Santa Barbara Business College and after talking to the lady she said they aren't launching any programs yet and have no dates set up at all. I haven't been able to find any other schools that offer this program, why is it so hard to become an LPN? Geesh!

In California we're called LVNs, not LPNs.
There's an LVN program at Oxnard Adult School. It is part-time (1.5 years long) and reasonably priced.
I checked out what I thought was the Oxnard Adult School and only saw a CNA class.
As recently as 2002, Oxnard Adult School offered a part-time LVN program at their Camarillo campus. It is just not openly advertised.
