When to register for Breeze

I know that Breeze is the online system for the California Board of Nursing. I was just wondering, do we sign up for that? I just submitted my application for Endorsement and the check. No other things included. I havent heard back from California Board and the check has not been cashed yet. Do I need to sign up for Breeze already? Or do they sign us up for that?

I know my question is very stupid but I would really appreciate any clarification. Thank you very much

    Maybe ask admin staff to move to the more active CA nursing forum.

    Hi,

    All I did was register as a "New User". Then after signing up, you should be able to search for an existing CA license and add to your account. If you are unable to find it, then that means your application is still sitting in their mail room (lasts 2 to 3 weeks). However, if you have a temp license, you can also add that. Once they start processing your app, you will see your application as "pending" online. I do not know if the BRN sends any invitation at all to sign up. I signed up (several years ago) just because I accidentally saw a sign up tab and I wanted to sign up.

    Good luck with the wait times.... it is taking a while for most nurses. The current timeline is between 6 to 12 weeks.
