What's the schedule like in the program?

I'm finishing up my last few pre-reqs at Cypress College and was wanting to here what your schedules were like for the program you attended. Please break it down by semester. Thanks!

i don't go to cypress college & i've only finished my first semester, but i'll tell you what our schedules have been like so far & what they're supposed to be like from here on out...

first semester: we had class all day tuesday from 7:30am to 4:30pm, then we were assigned a clinical day, where we were at the hospital from 6:30am until around 2pm. we also took pharmacology, one day a week for two hours. my class was on wednesdays, 3:30-5:30pm.

second semester: for the first eight weeks, i'm taking peri-op, so i have class monday & thursday mornings from 7-10am, & i'll have clinical tuesday & wednesday from 6:30am until around 2pm. for the second eight weeks, i'll go to OB/Peds, with class monday & thursday, 8-11am. our clinicals are split up for OB & Peds, we do OB for four weeks, just one day a week at the hospital, & four weeks of Peds, with two days at the hospital for clinicals. so our classroom time remains the same for all eight weeks of OB/Peds, but our clinicals switch after four weeks.

every semester after our first semester is split in half, so we take a full class every eight weeks, but we only have to take one at a time.

i know your school might set things up differently, but maybe this will give you a ballpark estimate of how much time you'll spend in class.
