WHAT TO DO?

I am an LPN, living in Austin Texas, I would like to do private duty nursing on my on, get a business license with me being the only employee to start. What steps do i need to take and do i need an RN to be able to do this.

    If you are compensated for representing yourself as a LPN you would have to be following a plan of care established by a RN, who of course, would have to have a MD order by which to structure the plan of care. Hence, the origin of Home Health Companies; medicare, medicaid, other insurance, or private pay.
