Well I have been a home health nurse for 6weeks now. I have been a nurse for 2.5yrs. I really like home health BUT not sure how I am doing. I have been on my own for 5 weeks now, going day by day writing my notes doing my oasis and visits to the best of my ability. I have not heard anything negative from my manager, she has said I am doing fine but wants to find time to sit down with me and go over my notes.

In the mean time I have been called a couple of times from my old VA manager offering me 12hour day schedules if I want them. My probation ends 10/19. I can not afford to be without a job.

What do you think?

Nice to be wanted in two places instead of none. Maybe part time at the other? Or just as a fill-in on your available days off? I like the idea of keeping both doors open at the same time. See how you feel toward the end of your probation and after the constructive criticism of your hh charting. You might pick up some vibes from that meeting that will push you in one direction, more than the other.
