What to do?

Once again I am at a crossroads at my career. I am in a position as a DCS in an assisted living facility. I am in the process of getting my masters. Why do I still have this nagging feeling of boredom? I have a great job, good hours etc. it's just a tad slow, not very challenging. I've never worked in a hospital setting and have always wondered what it would be like. Am I crazy for thinking about leaving a good job for a very unknown setting. Hospital work sounds like hard work with crazy hours. I've thought about per diem work to try it out but with no experience in acute care they want at least 3 days a week. My kids are still pretty young and I can't spread myself too thin. Any thoughts from anyone? THANKS!
