Hello my allnurses friend,
I am a LPN license holder and my LPN license is only valid for NY state. I am an RN graduate and Texas do not allow RN graduate to work as an LPN. Before even passing the LPN board, me and my husband decided to move to Texas. After i passed the LPN board i found out that i will not be able to endorse my NY LPN license in Texas. My husband have a really good job and i cannot tell him to move back to NY.I am so depressed because i am not able to use my license here in Texas. I have only two options left.
One is to move back to NY leaving my family behind or just to sit around doing nothing.
Most of you might be wondering why don't you go for a RN license.I did for multiple times with no success. I got this LPN license after so many years and with my hard work.
What would you do if you were in my situation??
I would really appreciate your help.

You are right, your only two options are moving back or to sit around. But, if you sit around, you might as well take classes to try and get your RN. there really is no point to sit around and do nothing. Look into classes, you can even go part time, but it's better than allowing yourself to be defeated. Everything takes hard work, or at least effort. Success doesn't just come
