I was wondering what would be an important thing to start learning before going into a LVN program? What did you think was most important , rather it be hard to learn or not!!
Thanks,
Steph:)

I have the same question! I am getting ready to graduate in 8 weeks to RN and I am still sitting here, pouring over Saunders, Kaplan and Lippincott to find the starting point. Looking back, I think I would start with the very basics. Positioning for patient comfort (especially for NG pts, post surgical, enemas, etc). Seems silly, but this is something I never considered important and as it turns out, many c/o pain stem from icky positioning. Wounds, hip replacements and pt mobility. Start and work your way up, trust me.. the instructors will make you do it, and at least you'll look smart! Good luck to you!
