What do I do now?

I will continue to apply to hundreds of jobs since I am closer to finishing my BSN and gained a year experience in long term care facility.

But I will admit at this point I am VERY depressed but still find myself clicking on those "apply now" tabs! My goal is to become an ICU nurse but ofcourse the problem with that is NO ONE hires the new grad and now my latest predicament being experience in long term care.

How am I suppose to get to where I want to if no one will give me a chance? I just need one shot, one chance, one moment to just prove myself.

At this point I am considering moving out of NY but I need a sense of direction....which state is my best option?

HELP anybody, somebody! :(

try emailing the recruiters (use google to find names and emails). City hospitals, those of NYC HHC are more open to those with non hospital experience...in my orientation almost 2 years ago, a lot of the new hires had their only experience in LTC, clinics, etc. ICU does not hire new grads though. However medsurg is most frequent area that hires new grads and is good unit to learn more skills on.
