It's entirely too late for me to be up, but I can't sleep, so I decided to get on here and ask a quick question.
A brief summary, I'm an eighteen year old male, just starting CNA training tomorrow. But I'm not really sure what I should bring? So far I've packed a backpack with a couple notebooks, some pens, and enough money to get some food from the hospital. I think my textbook will be issued to me tomorrow morning, and we are supposed to wear business/casual dress.
Anything else I need?:typing

I wouldn't even bring a backpack. I'd just show up with a folder with a few peices of notebook paper, a pen in my pocket, and a few bucks in another pocket.

sounds to me like you have everything :) Usually on first day they'll let you know what you'll need to aquire for the classes to come, oh and good call on the backpack... if it's anything like mine, you may get a lot of handouts. I'm excited for you. Good luck and have fun
Thanks for all the advice guys. I just got off a few hours ago. It was great. I'm so glad I brought my backpack, because I got a huge binder full of handouts, a textbooks, and a workbook.
We didn't really do too much today, besides go over policies and procedures, but our instructor said that that was the remaining days of the class would be hands on training.
Just went out a bought my first pair of scrubs too. They are so comfortable! It's like I get to wear a pair of pajamas to work everyday. Hopefully all goes well, but for now I'm going to go study. Thanks for all the help guys.

I'll be taking a backpack to my first day also as I ride a motorcycle 95% of the time. My truck has not moved from it's spot on the driveway for 10 days.
