What are the general prerequisites classes for a 4 year BSN degree in the states?

Nurses General Nursing

I am looking to take prerequisites this year, but i need the general requirements and classes i would be needing to take. As of now i am looking at schools, since i'm in a military household it is hard to see what state i am going to end up in. This makes its hard to get a general idea of what i need for pre-req and general requirements (sat, act, ect.)

If anyone could give me a general outlook on requirements and pre-req classes to start, and on to a BSN degree, that would great.

Of course all pre-reqs for different schools will vary, but general courses I'd say college algebra, English composition, a general biology or chemistry sequence, anatomy and physiology sequence, microbiology, general psychology, statistics. I'm sure I'm missing some but those come to mind for pretty much all nursing schools I've looked in to.

As far as SAT or ACT, the college itself will want your scores (many have low minimum accepted), but the nursing school will usually just want a high score on an entrance exam such as the TEAS.

If you're doing a 4-year BSN program, the prerequisites are already part of the program. That's what the first 2 years are.
