I am sorry to hear about your wife, I hope she her treatment will be successful.
I have been working in oncology for the past six months, and the question you have asked i find very difficult to answer. the reply i have to many of my patients is everybody reacts differently to treatment.
Today there are many treatment for NHL and what to expect can be very individual. You must ask the nurses on the ward to provide you with some sort of information, perhaps there will also be a possibility for you to speak to a psycologist, this can help to give perspective to help you and your wife to get throught this difficult time.
G-d bless and Best wishes

Sorry to hear about your wife. I am a nursing student in my 3 semester. My mother had Breast Cancer in 1999 and has been cancer free now for five years. She had both chemo and radiation. I can tell you that chemo can make you very sick but it doesn't for every one. She also lost her hair about 15 days after the first treatment. The radiation made her very tired. I did alot of research of the net and found web sites that people wrote about there experience. Good luck to you. And God be with you.
