What are the classes covered at LPN program and textbook used?

Hi all,

I am a bit of a slow learner and usually get accomodations for learning. I would like to pre study some of the subjects before going in to a 1 year intensive LPN program. Can anyone tell me the subject and if possible the textbook that is used for their LPN program? I plan on going to LaGuardia Community College, so it would be extra helpful too if you went there or are going there. If not any info would be great. Thanks:)

    The following Topics were covered in my LPN program

    -fundamentals

    -Mother/Baby

    -Common Health problems ( Diabetes, HTN, and etc.)

    -Complex health probblems( GI and Resp. issues, cardiovascular issues and etc.

    -We had a summer class that included the following topics: med surg, peds, psych, and career improvement. So five classes, 2.5 semesters
