Hi,
What are my chances of getting into a full nursing course? or even a regular science course, due to my late registration I'm currently on the waitlist for micro + ethics. I'm able to register now and so for backup just incase I don't get into the nursing course, I have registered for both Microbiology Hybrid and Ethics.
Nursing is full but I emailed the instructor to see if she can force register me. We had an arrangement that once I got the hold lifted off my account she would see what she can do. Has anyone last minute been able to register for the next semesters nursing course.
If I took those two classes I would only be left with 2 more coreqs; American Literature and a religion course. Then I have 3 nursing courses left till graduation. My financial situation isn't as secure as I would like it to be but I never/won't give up and will find a way to get to graduation.

I suppose that just depends on where you attend. For example I attended a nursing school, as in that's all they do: an accelerated program, affiliated with a hospital, that only educates nurses. So for me, the only thing very late registry did was get me stuck with a class time and/or professor I didn't want.
However when I was attending a regular college for a different degree, late registration usually meant I was stuck without any options because everything filled up. Do you have an advisor? Have you tried talking to them?
Yes I have an advisor and no I haven't contacted him yet. The ability for me to register just opened up yesterday so being excited I just jumped straight to trying to add courses. But thank you for the advice.

It is not as simple as just registering for a 'nursing' class. Have you already been accepted into the nursing program? If not, you need to go through this process in order to be eligible to enroll in the clinical portion of your education.
Wishing you the best of luck on your education journey
@HouTx Guide I'm already in the program so it would be just registering for the next nursing class #2 out of 4. I just finished semester 1 fundamentals in April. My dilema was that I couldn't get into the class when registration first opened up because of a past due balance that resulted in a hold being placed on my account. As of now the hold has been lifted and all this time I have kept in touch with the nursing director and have emailed various people that would have a say so in the matter and I'm just waiting to see if the director will force register me into the course. They have already done it for other students. But thank you for your well wishes.

I really wouldn't know, most people that go into the nursing classes will probably stay at all costs!

We have a cohort that stays on a schedule. Our advisors register us. There are limited amount of seats in the program. At my school you just can't register for classes. The only person that can answer your question is your advisor.
