What are the chances?

I have a 3.36 cumulative gpa as of now. I'm done with all the prereqs for nursing in any CSU. I have all B's in anat, physio, micro.

If I apply to CSU's, what are the chances of me getting in? Has there been a student chosen recently to get into any of the CSU nursing programs with that low of a gpa and B's in the main courses?

I just want to know what is likely to happen so I can prepare myself because I am thinking about going from ADN to RN to BSN now if my chances are very little to get into a CSU BSN program.

do you know their requirements regarding GPA? I would say apply to two or three nursing programs if you can. I'm not in that area so I don't know about the school you are talking about, sorry!

CSU Sacramento posts statistics on those accepted to the nursing program, including GPA, TEAS scores, and points for optional criteria (speaking a foreign language, experience in healthcare, etc.). The info can be found on the CSUS Nursing page. Just click on the menu item entitled "Undergraduate," and then look for "Applicant Pool Statistics."

Thank you so much for the replies. I know requirements are different for every CSU's but the applicant pool statistic gave me a general idea. I still have a slight chance if I raise my gpa and do really well on the teas test. I hope I can get into the program next time around.
