Hi All!
This might be a silly question but i don't know who i can turn to. I will have all my pre-requisites done except A&P 2,3 and micro. Those are not required to apply for nursing school but i was wondering what are my chances of getting in ?
I volunteer at the shelter and also work in hospital.
Thank you so much for sharing,

In my experience your chances of being accepted decrease quite rapidly when you do not have all of your prerequisites finished. It is not because the school wont accept people who do not have all their prerequisites finished, but it is more a function of how many very qualified applicants that nursing schools get each year. The cohort spots will go to those with the best and most complete application first.
I in no way mean to discourage or dissuade you, I was in the same kind of position this year. I suppose the best advice would be to apply to your schools of choice but have a plan to finish those prerequisites.

Each school will have an application score sheet and I would advise going over that score sheet in detail. The goal is to have a perfect score and I have been told that competition is steep all around. Buts don't feel down even if you don't make it the first time around you will at least know what to expect for the next go around.
