What was your career path

Hi all,

I am a new FNP and wondering what type of RN you were and what has your current carreer path been?

I am hoping this will help me decide what type of first job to take.

Thanks for your responses.

Good thoughts.

I was an RN for 12 years before I became an APN: 10 years in a level one trauma center, 1 year adult ICU and 1 yr med-surg and 2 years as an LPN prior to that.

After graduation (May 06), I took a job in a nephrology practice and like it a lot. I also work prn in an ER.
