WGU in CA

How is WGU received in CA in general? Do most employers feel it's legitimate? Do most state schools consider it legitimate/accredited?

Thanks!

Haven't heard anything bad about them. One of my top choice schools to start. I have been going through my enrollment process with my adviser getting my nursing packet together. I just have to finish my last science course and take my TEAS Exam. I have been in school the last 6 years completing a non nursing degree to cover all my general ed which helped because they prefer a degree and it satisfies all general ed. I love the fact that they are geared towards working individuals who need a non traditional school due to family and work obligations.

They are accredited and students tend to love the education. Look at the other posts on here. Students have moved on to other schools to get CRNA and other specialties.

I haven't heard much negativity about this school at all.

They have clinicals at very reputable hospitals with big names, Cedar Sinai, Huntington Memorial, and 2 clinicals in Orange County and I believe Riverside County. They have very good supporters and connection. I can't see anything that would be negative about them.

That was very helpful, they are definitely at the top of my list for RN-BSN for the moment!

Clinicals at Cedars Sinai alone is very impressive!
