WCCCD Application Meetings

How long is the application meeting? I was going to attend the June 29 meeting but that is also the day I am supposed to leave for a long road trip. Is it possible to get in there and get out in about a half hour? It kind of sounds like you go in, get the application, fill in the information and that's it but I wasn't sure.

Thanks

Wen,

Did you apply on the 29th? I got there half an hour early accidently, around 9. I left around 10. So it took me about half an hour

Trish, no, I decided to wait and apply July 29th. Good luck! Hopefully we both will start in January!

Yes, hope to see you in January too. They won't be sending out acceptance letters until mid October or early November. What a wait! Keep in mind when you apply that they want Official transcripts from all colleges attended (even thou they say unofficial or official) and they want high school transcripts (even thou they say a copy of the diploma or transcripts).

Thank you for letting me know I need high school transcripts! I have my diploma only! It will be a long wait finding out if we made it.

I took a couple classes when I first got out of high school (long time ago). I wonder if they need that transcript. None of the classes had anything to do with nursing. I never had anything transferred over.

I don't think it matters if none of the classes apply to the program. You can always send an email to the nursing department and see what they say.

Thanks, I called and they said since nothing is transferring I don't need to bring anything. I got my high school transcripts this week so I am all set.
