Wayne State University 2016

Published

Hello,

I'm new here in Michigan and I'm applying to Wayne State University. I have to complete four more prerequisites which I'm attending Oakland Community College for the summer taking one class and the next three in the fall. Is there anyone else out there applying for the CD2 program for the fall of 2016??? Or anyone else went through this process?? I'm so excited, but nervous because this is the only school I'm applying to. I know my eggs in one basket. This school has a great representation and I'm ready for the challenge. Please let me know and let's talk😉

My husband did the CD2 program. It is tough. Make sure you budget your time. Keep a schedule. Be prepared to eat, sleep, breathe school. You'll do fine. Oakland University has a good program, if you want to split you eggs. I graduated from WSU. I'm currently taking the long way to my BSN. I'm starting with my LPN to get my feet wet. I'm a little gun shy about spending money on another degree. í ½í¸Š

Good luck!

Hi. Thank you for the feedback. How long ago did he complete the program? Why don't you finish the RN degree? You have a great advantage. I have my MHA and I've heard any accelerated program is difficult. I'm up for the challenge. Oakland University has completed their application process for 2016 according to their website. If I had my four classes done, I could've applied. My husband is in the military and we are here until 2018. Prayerfully I'm accepted. í ½í¹í ¼í¿¾

I just submitted my application for the CD2 for spring/summer 2016. Its not due until january but I just recently decided to apply and Im anxious as well lol I still need to take nutrition, which Im taking this fall...

If I'm not accepted into Chamberlain's School of Nursing, then I'm going to keep going with the process of WSU. According to them, I have four more classes I have to take which are nutrition, biology with the lab and anthropology. I registered at OCC, but if I get in within the next two weeks, I'm going there. Have you applied anywhere else?

I plan on applying! I was already accepted to an accelerated program out-of-state, but interested in remaining here. I know they accept 64 students per year and start at a 4.0 and work their way down.....I don't necessarily agree with that since they discontinued interviews and resumes/personal statements. Though, I will apply and see what happens!I graduated from there, so I am hoping that helps.

I hope you are able to get in. I'm going to attend Chamberlain in the spring. I couldn't risk not getting accepted because our military orders are up in 2018 and we are stationed someone else. I need to do it now. Although many have complained about them, the majority are satisfied with their school. I will see for myself.

I feel like you will hear something negative about every program out there. Congratulations on getting into Chamberlain! Are you going to bother applying to WSU? Or are you just sticking with where you got in? Best of luck to you!

Welcome to Michigan! I am also starting nursing school in fall 2016, but at Schoolcraft in Livonia. I know it's a while out, but if u want to stufy when we're in school, let me know!

Honestly that's what I was telling my husband. It's up to the individual to make their education a success. I'm just going to stick with Chamberlain. It's not that far away from my home and my children's school. Thank you and I wish you nothing but success. I hope it works in your favor. Please keep me updated if you get in.

Thank you...I have never heard of Schoolccraft. What made you come to the decision to pick this school? Is it expensive as well? Yes...I will love to study and keep in touch. It's nothing like having a buddy system and someone at a different school. That is no problem with me.
