Wasting Pyxis medication

Hi, I was just wondering if you have multiple Pyxis machine on your unit can you waste a narcotic on a different Pyxis?

For example you pulled from Pyxis 1, would the warning “You have a waste” showed on Pyxis 2? Or would the warning only show from the Pyxis you pulled the medication?

    This might vary, but at my facility we can waste on either Pyxis.  If we are returning, we have to return to the Pyxis we removed it from.
