Wallace State Cutoff

Published

I was wondering if anyone knows what the cutoff was for the fall of 2010 to get into either the LPN or RN program at Wallace ? I haven't taken my TEAS yet and was wondering what the cutoff was.

I made a 66 on TEAS-V but I'm not sure how many total points I had. I had 2-A's & 1-B.

Did you get accepted into the program there?

I did, but I turned down my spot because Calhoun's part-time evening was more feasible for me.

Well congratulations! Do you know how the teas score works toward the nursing program?

It's worth so many points towards your total. It replaces the Compass Reading score. You can earn a total of 150 possible points just from TEAS along so with my 66% that gave me like 70 something pts if I remember correctly.

"Scoring on the TEAS-V is utilized in the nursing entry process as points based on the percentage score

equivalent. There is no minimum score required on the TEAS-V but a higher score produces a higher point

total for nursing entry. Example: Score achieved on TEAS-V is 80%; 120 points awarded toward nursing entry."

Total points possible for nursing entry: AD / 251 and PN / 221
