I don't know about Rex, but I believe Wakemed is:

Eve - $4/hr

Noc - $6/hr

Holiday - $10/hr

Weekend day (7a-7p) 1.5x base pay

Weekend noc (7p-7a) 1.67x base pay

Thanks for the info. :) What is Noc?

Any numbers for Rex?

Do you know if they offer a higher pay rate when you choose not to have the health benifits?

WakeMed does - sort of. If you opt out of the health insurance you get a small amount extra in each paycheck. It's less than $20/pay period, so decide if that's worth it for you or not. Dental is the same way, only the amount extra is even less per pay period.

Hi,

Here are the current diffs offered at Rex:

Evenings: $3.50/hr

Nights: $5/hr

Weekends: $10/hr

Holidays: time and a half

We also have a new option to pick up extra shifts if you choose to. You can bid on open shifts on any unit in the hospital (in which you are qualified to work), and there is an additional premium attached to it. That's in addition to any other shift diffs that are applicable.
