Is anyone applying to Wake Tech's ADN program for the Fall 2020? How many points do y'all have?

You are going to have to go to my.waketech.edu and from there that's how you activate your account - we won't be able to look you up if you haven't set up an account yet.

I also received it in my regular email, so if you are not able to access your student account, maybe you can wait for a few more to receive it there. I’m positive you got in!

I got my letter in my personal email. I got accepted with 168 points. ??

Yeah they sent it to my wake tech one first and then my other one a couple hours later

My friend got selected as an alternate with 138. She said the accepted scores range was 144-172.

Yep, same with me, 138 points.

I got selected as an alternate with 144 points.

I am an alternate with 139 points. I figured that would happen since I applied without having micro done yet. Fingers crossed. Congratulations to all that got in!

hey all!

does anyone know what book are we gonna need for NUR 111?

They don't have info on the website yet, but my neighbor is giving away her nursing books from ESU and I don't wanna take them just because, in case someone can actually use it

thanks!

I am wondering if a new addition is being released. That’s usually why they wouldn’t be listed by now. I noticed as well that they hadn’t posted the book when you search the class. I have been adding things to my amazon cart however ?. Has anyone on here used a Litmann classic stethoscope for their CNA class? I have an MDF, and it works well enough, but was thinking about upgrading to a litmann since I can hear my fingers crackle with mine, but not sure if it’s worth it if you can still hear finger crackles.

I assume we would be told that information during orientation ... other than that, I dont really know much ?

I tried out the Littman 3 for a little while. It was good but ended up getting the Littman Cardiology 4. A bit expensive but I can hear things better with it. Never tried a MDF stethoscope.

Yeah could be that...

I don't know about the stethoscope though( We used the ones the school provided and they were horrible
