Waitlisted

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone was on the waitlist for the BSN program at Queens or if you got Accepted!!?? I got waitlisted and was wondering if anyone knows how Queens deals with that? I called them to ask what number I was and they did not want to give information. I just want to know where I stand. I got accepted into CPCC's program for this fall, but If I can go ahead and get my bachelor's I would rather go to Queens, even though it is way more expensive. What do you guys suggest?:up:

Thank you

PAulina

Can you accept CPCC's offer and then rescend it later if you do get accepted at Queens? I wouldn't give up with Queens. Totally different area, but my husband and I recently went through something where the person we were talking to refused to give us the information we needed. Within reason I'd call and try to speak to someone else to find out where you are on the list.

Good luck!

I used to be so caught up on getting my BSN instead of an ADN but I'm currently working as an NA at a hospital that has a tuition reimbursement program so I figured why not just get my ADN and let them pay for me to get both my ADN and my RN-BSN or RN to MSN ...whichever I decide to pursue...More than likely it'll be RN to BSN because I don't have to gain at least of year of experience...

So I recommend you accepting the spot at the community college and complete a RN to BSN program while you're working. The majority of them are online anyway!

Regardless of what you decide to do, I wish you the best of luck!

Hey,

thanks for your advice. I have been waiting for a call from Queens, but even if I don't get a call I am still going to start the ADN program. I am lucky I got in somewhere, I might as well go for it!:yeah: I am still taking the pre-reqs this summer for the BSN program just in case! When I got my letter for the waitlist, it said it on the paper that they could not give out our waitlist information, I really don't comprehend, oh well, I guess its just the rules they go by. Best wishes to you all!!
