Waitlisted for LPN to RN

I have been waitlisted for Cape cod CC LPN to RN program. There were only 10/11 spots and so five of the applicants are waitlisted. Wondering if anybody has gotten in from a bridge waitlist or if anyone has experience as an LPN starting from scratch and taking a two year program?

Hi! I'm actually an Lpn enrolled in a 2 year RN program for the fall. I will be attending a hospital based ADN program. A lot of schools in my area stopped doing the bridge program.

Thank you!! Turns out being waitlisted just might have shown me just how badly (and maybe didn’t realize) I want to do this.

I hear ya! I drove myself crazy waiting for the acceptance! We just have to remember that feeling of how bad we want this when we are in the trenches of the nursing course load!? We can do this!!

Hello. Iam from Virginia trying to find an Lpn to RN bridge program. Any suggestions?

I would check your state board of nursing requirements as I believe some states do not accept online programs…make sure the programs are accredited before enrolling. Google search  “LPN to RN programs near me.” Check out the requirements/prerequisites for the programs and start working on those at the college that is your first choice to apply with as some don’t accept transfer credits equally. Best of luck to you!!
