Waitlist at UW

Hey All-

So I'm on the waitlist at the University of Washington for the Fall 2014, reaching out to anybody else who is or ever has been waitlisted, just wondering about the process? How are you feeling/ did you feel about being waitlisted? Did you stay on the list/ are you planning on staying on the list? Were you picked up in the past? I figure this way, we can also keep each other updated on the progress of the movement of the list if there is any. I personally, was going to take my name off the waitlist. I figured it was better to let it go and move forward, being that I don't think I have much chance of getting picked up from my position on the list, but my family convinced me to just wait and see what happens. So here I am, sending prayers up!

I'm waitlisted at SeattleU for Fall 2014. For me, there was no doubt that I would accept a spot on the waitlist because SU is my dream school and there is no way I would give up the opportunity to get accepted if there is still a possibility.

Best of luck to you! I know how difficult the waiting game is. When do expect to hear a response?

It can happen all the way into the early fall, but as early as May. Good luck to you too!

Me too Just_keep_swimming. I also wish I had more hope. So far, the waitlist has only moved by one person.

At least you found out it moved! 1 step at a time but yeah...the hopes are dimming :/

Oh I had to call them to find that out. Oh well, you never know. Don't give up.

I checked with them today and found out I am now #8 on the list...at least it moved right?

Wait! It moved again? You were #10 right? That means I'm #6 now? Well, let's pray it moves Ay least 8 more! I want it as badly for you as i do for myself! Just_keep_swimming keep our fingers crossed!

I have my EYES crossed at this point Just_keep_swimming. We should start a system. I'll check in a couple of weeks, then you check and we'll keep each other updated! That way, it won't be the same person asking all the time.
