Waitlist Etiquette

Hello everyone, I have been placed on waitlists for every nursing program I've applied to, that I've heard from yet. They're all second-degree accelerated programs. Has this happened to anyone else? I am planning to send letters to my top two choices, but do extra essays, or a call from the Dean of my college, help at all? Or am I just at the mercy of the admissions people?

Thanks,

Athena

In your letters, make sure to highlight anything that has changed in your circumstances. If you are doing well in classes, make that known. If you are doing anything new that will contribute to your nursing experience tell them in the letter. It is really important that they know this is something that you are working for and are willing to continue working for. Good luck!
