Does anyone have an idea on the various wait lists for nursing programs in CA?

Cypress college: 2-3 years

Cuesta 2-3 years

Hartnell 1 year

MPC don't know

Cabrillo 3 years

Gavilan 2-3 years

I dont believe there's a wait at Long Beach City College...I think I posted that before...hope that helps.

You may want to post the region of California you are most interested in, as there are probably hundreds of programs. You listed Cypress, so I'll assume Southern California at this point.

Golden West College: Maximum wait 2 years (apply Spring/Fall semesters and if GPA eligible and not drawn by lottery first three cycles, accepted on 4th)

CSU-Chico has started a new LVN to BSN online programme to start in Fall 2007 (this is now closed). Check on the website to find more info for the next go-around and for the pre-recs. I'm going to be one of the 'guinia pigs' for Fall 2007- wish me luck!!!

MPC has no wait list because they pick the 50 most qualified each year, based on a point system that gives priority to Monterey county residents.

College of the Redwoods in Eureka, CA waiting list is about 1 year and USAULLY the first 10-17 get into the program....wait list my year went to 150 and up to 17 on waiting list got in the rest where on the waiting list for the next year
