Waiting after an interview... From Kindred...

Had an interview with the DON of a Kindred facility on the 15th of November. I think it went well, especially since we were talking for almost an hour and a half. At the end if the interview, she asked me for my info so she can do the background check and told me for the process afterwards( drug test, orientation etc). She also said that it may take up to 10 days for the background check to come back. ... I know that the HR person that was in charge of the process is out till tomorrow, on vacation, but I am going bonkers!!! The waiting game is what kills me!!! I have no offenses, so I know that my background check is clear. I left a voicemail to the DON on Friday, just asking kindly for the status but haven't heard from her either... What do I do? You think I am overreacting? I had the impression that the interview went really well..

Specializes in lots of specialties.

I'm sure it went fine. I would just wait. They may be interviewing other candidates etc. i wouldn't call too much. I would have thanked her for the interview and that you look forward to hearing from her..
