Wait time for BON to post license numbers

I'd like to know this too...tested monday, wondering when i'll show as active on ct bon

Hi all

Was wondering if anyone who recently passed the NCLEX could tell me how long did it take the State BON to post your license number?

When I passed my NCLEX-PN exam (5 yrs ago), they had the issue date of the license as the date that my quick results became available (7/11) but my license number wasn't up on that date. And I can't seem to recall how long of a wait it was.

Can anyone tell me how long from when you got your quick results to when your name showed up with a license number?

Actually you obviously saw you license number at this point lol how long??!! I'm dying over here. Tested this Monday, feel good about the test actually and I'm getting the "good pop up". I can see quick results tomorrow BUT those are still unofficial. I need to see it on the BON site ya know? Hopefully by Friday?? This is torture...

mine was 5 days some of my classmates took up to 9 days.

5-9 days from nclex? or from quick results?

It showed up 7 days from my test date. Some of my classmates have had them show up 2 or 3 days after the quick results date. I guess it all depends on how many come in at one time. When I called to make sure all was ok, the lady told me that she new they had a ton of results that came in and they were going through them. She had said they would be entering those in the next 2 days. About 1/2 later my number showed up.

I didn't know about the email from the BON, when I took my NCLEX-PN (5 years ago) no email was sent when the posted your license number.

If your results say PASS, then you passed. Those results you see are what PearsonVue sends to the BON you list. They are 'unoffical' results b/c its the State BON that licenses you, not PearsonVue.

If you tested Monday, your quick results will be available today. Whatever the results are that show on your quick results is your actual pass/fail status. Best of luck!

My quick results say pass!!!! I'm excited but didn't want to get too excited b/c paranoid me feels like it's not 'real' until my name goes from pending to active on the BON website. Thank-you for snapping me out of it. It's comforting b/c I want to tell my family but I didn't know if it was too soon. Is it normal that this doesn't feel real!!?? Ah can't believe it!

When I did my 'trick' in the parking lot of the PearsonVue center and got the good pop up I didn't believe it, kept doing it over and over for the 48 hrs until my quick results were there...I kept saying, I won't believe it or say anything to anyone until the quick results were up...48 hrs passed and the quick results said pass..more comforting and real..but then I wouldn't believe it until I saw my license number next to my name...and when it showed up, I still couldn't believe it! I STILL go back and look at it from time to time...I'm impatiently awaiting my 'paper' license to come in the mail, the email did say it won't come until I think the 3rd week of the next month (so for me...it would be july).

Very normal that it doesn't feel real.

HAHAHAHA yes you described me as well!! Did PVT in parking lot! lol Then all the time until quick results and I'm stilllll like what?! But sometimes you just need an outside perspective (you for example) with a level head to tell me everything is fine. Your explanation really did make logical sense, I'm just in shock and feel like it's too good to be true. I do feel much better after your reply though!!!!
