visascreen and cvs

Published

hi, i'm new here and this is a really great site. very informative. i hope you could help me clarify some stuff about visascreen and cvs.

i am waiting for a new mexico license. once i am licensed in new mexico, can I start my application for visascreen and cvs at the same time? (i'm considering starting my cvs in case i need to endorse to new york since cvs takes a long time)

Will cgfns delay processing my visascreen until they are done with my cvs (if i apply at the same time)? i do want to get my visascreen processed first so that they will only verify my license in New mexico...

And if I endorse my license to New York and finally got my license there.... will it have the same expiry as my original New Mexico license? if the New Mexico license expires will my New York license expire at the same time?

hope u could help me out here. thanks!!!;)

You can start your VSC process when ever you want. Once you have a NY license it will have a different expiry date to NM.

you can start any of this 2(CVS or CES) BUT you must comply all the requirments in a year so that you wont pay additional fee. :nono:
